Brooke Thomas
Welcome!
I look forward to working together. Here are a few things to know before your first session with me. *Please be sure to fill out the intake form on this page prior to your appointment.
OFFICE LOCATION:
My practice is located in the Saturn Building in Fremont, 3417 Evanston Ave N. I am in office #305, and you can take the stairs or the elevator to the 3rd floor.
I will meet you in the waiting area on the 3rd floor at the time of your session.
Please check your session reminder email the day before your appointment for a code to get into the building.
FREE PARKING:
There is a parking lot for the Saturn Building, which includes handicapped spots. The entrance is on 35th, at the back of the building (turn in just past SWeL Restaurant). You may park for the entire duration of your appointment, but are asked not to remain in the lot beyond your appointment time so that we can keep that spots open for clients of the Saturn Building.
If you arrive and find the lot is full, there is also free street parking on 35th or other nearby streets.
RATE & SESSION LENGTH:
My fee is $225/session, and I accept cash, check, charge and Venmo at the time of the session. I do not accept tips, so this is the total fee.
First appointments are about 90 minutes long so that we can also go over your health intake and goals for working together. Follow-up appointments are 75 minutes long. I do not charge a higher rate for first appointments.
CANCELLATIONS:
24 hours notice is required for cancellation/rescheduling. For any missed appointments, or those that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, I will charge a missed session fee of $125.
ILLNESS AND MASKING PROTOCOLS:
If you have symptoms of any illness, please reschedule your appointment until you are feeling well. I do not charge a missed appointment fee due to illness. If I am ill, I will also reschedule our session so as not to expose you.
My office has a high quality air purifier which has been tested on multiple viruses including Covid. I do not wear masks in sessions any longer unless you prefer that we both mask. I am happy to mirror my client's masking preferences.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Because you will be moving more than in a massage (walking, sitting, standing) Rolfing is done partially clothed. Most people simply wear underwear they are comfortable in. If you prefer to be more fully clothed, athletic shorts and a tank top works well. Long pants, and short or long sleeve shirts will not work.
If you have any other questions don't hesitate to reach out at brooke@emeraldcityrolfing.com.
